What Payment Methods Do We Accept?
We accept three secure payment methods:
- Visa (credit and debit cards)
- MasterCard (credit and debit cards)
- PayPal (including PayPal balance and linked bank accounts)
We do not accept: American Express, Discover, prepaid gift cards, cash, checks, money orders, or cryptocurrency.
Currency & Pricing
All transactions are processed in United States Dollars (USD). The price you see on the product page is exactly what you will pay at checkout – no hidden fees, no surprise charges. If you use a non‑USD credit card, your bank may apply a currency conversion fee. DCShoesShop is not responsible for any such fees.
When Is My Card Charged?
- Credit/debit cards: Your card is authorized at checkout. The actual charge occurs when your order enters the processing stage (usually within one hour of order confirmation)
- PayPal: Payment is taken immediately when you complete the PayPal redirect
Payment Security
- Our checkout is fully SSL‑encrypted (look for the padlock in your browser‘s address bar)
- We never store full credit card numbers on our own servers. We use tokenized payment processing through PCI‑compliant partners
- PayPal transactions are protected by PayPal‘s Buyer and Seller Protection policies
Failed Payments or Declined Cards
If your payment is declined, you will see an error message at checkout. Please contact your bank or PayPal directly to resolve the issue. Once the issue is resolved, you may place a new order. We do not manually capture or retry failed payments.
Refunds & Credits
All refunds are credited back to the original payment method used at checkout:
- Credit cards: Refunds typically appear in 7–10 business days after we process the refund
- PayPal: Refunds typically appear in 1–3 business days

Disputes & Chargebacks
If you do not recognize a charge from DCShoesShop on your bank or credit card statement, please contact us first at info@dcshoseshop.com before initiating a chargeback. We will work with you to resolve any legitimate issues promptly. Filing an unwarranted chargeback may result in permanent account suspension and legal collection action.
